okay - I have been a bit negligent on this first trial effort. Life was a bit difficult to engage in fully when I was working full time overnights at the shelter and this past little while was a much needed rest and adjust to a much healthier way of living!! Sleeping at night, up out of the ground is changing my whole life and I am very grateful and excited about it all! So, no more excuses, now is the time to try to get on this and all those other fabulous things I was dreaming about when I first decided it was a good idea to leave social services and move on to healthier things for myself :) For now, check out my website efforts and info at www.djltherapy.ca See you soon!

Hello?!! So things are going well at Oma Chiropractic and I am investigating the possibilites around purchasing my own home/clinic space nearby - good energy definitely appreciated! Once I have a reliable space of my own I can really focus intensely on building my private practice and get that much closer to my goal of owning my own health clinic! Oil of Tamanu | Medicine Hunter Okay - good news! I have stumbled across this amazing skin healer and the results I am getting treating my poor hands (nasty eczema this year especially!) are pretty incredible. I only bought the oil a few days ago and it sealed a fairly deep few fissures across a few fingers. Fingers crossed it will help get my hands back to working condition and then help keep them that way! Bye bye corticostoroid cream! Bye Bye dermatologist appointment! Howdy! Just wanted to wish everyone a safe and happy holiday season as Xmas quickly approaches along with 2011 - can you believe it??? I am trying to post more regularly, after all that is the point of a blog I think.... I am also expanding my advertising efforts so I can hopefully move more quickly to full time RMT work and complete my career transition - working overnights at Covenant House is really wearing me down something fierce some days. I am however very excited about continuing to improve my own health and well being in 2011. I have recently started working with a Naturopathic doctor (Dr. Rachel at Oma Chiropractic - handy for me indeed :) and look forward to finding a new home gym and resuming regular work outs. While I am very pleased with my big health accomplishments in 2010 (QUIT SMOKING FOR ALMOST 1 YEAR NOW!!!), I am super stoked about 2011 moving me into some huge changes in all aspects of my life, personally and professionally. Now I have a new computer I can really start blogging more! Adriatic in Croatia was especially spectacular - recommend it to anyone considering it, especially by sea :) It was a big adjustment getting back to reality though after such a nice time off and away - whew! And watch out for the carbs in all those fabulous bakeries and family homes - still trying to get back into a decent work out routine - oh my!

My practice is growing slow but sure and I am thankful for all of it. I am however looking very forward to my upcoming 4 week vacation in Europe (mostly the Croatian Adriatic) - yay! And I am working my way through some incredible healing work - life is very good!
